Healing Hearts Grief Support Program
The Healing Hearts Grief Support Program provides trauma informed emotional support to children who have lost a parent or sibling to gun violence. This program creates safe, age appropriate spaces where children can process grief, reduce emotional isolation, and begin healthy healing with professional guidance and peer connection.
Program Components
• Individual and group grief counseling led by licensed or supervised mental health professionals
• Age specific support groups for children and teens impacted by violent loss
• Trauma informed coping skill development and emotional regulation tools
• Family centered support sessions to strengthen communication and stability at home
• Referrals to long term mental health and crisis support services


Sibling Strength Peer Healing Program
The Sibling Strength Peer Healing Program focuses on children who have lost a brother or sister to gun violence. This program recognizes the unique grief siblings experience and offers peer focused healing opportunities that build connection, understanding, and emotional resilience.
Program Components
• Peer led healing circles for siblings experiencing similar loss
• Facilitated group discussions centered on grief, identity, and emotional expression
• Creative healing activities such as art, journaling, and storytelling
• Mentorship connections with trained adults who have lived experience with loss
• Confidence building activities that promote healthy emotional development
Pathways to Stability Family Assistance Program
The Pathways to Stability Family Assistance Program supports families facing immediate financial hardship following the loss of a loved one to gun violence. The program helps stabilize households so children can focus on healing without the added stress of unmet basic needs.
Program Components
• Emergency financial assistance for essential household needs
• Support with funeral and memorial related expenses when funding allows
• Assistance navigating public benefits and community resources
• Financial education referrals to promote long term stability
• Connection to trusted community partners for wraparound support


Hope Builders Mentorship Program
The Hope Builders Mentorship Program pairs grieving youth with caring, trained mentors who provide consistent guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling. The program helps children regain a sense of safety, purpose, and hope while navigating life after loss.
Program Components
• One on one mentoring relationships with screened and trained volunteers
• Academic encouragement and life skill support
• Social emotional development and confidence building activities
• Positive recreational outings that promote trust and connection
• Ongoing mentor training in trauma informed youth engagement
